Nick Saban is the most overrated coach of my generation

Nick Saban just coached his last game for the LSU Tigers. Down 12 points with 6 mins left and on their heels, LSU sucks it up and starts to make a game out of it. They score a TD, get the ball again on the goaline, and with like 40 seconds left, Saban spikes it on the 3 yard line. LSU scores, takes the lead, and every filthy Cajun in Louisiana was on their front porch playin' a banjo in victory. Drew Tate gets the ball for Iowa and throws a 50 yard pass for the win. I said it before, and I will say it again: Nick Saban is the most overrated coach of my generation, and the Dolphins just made him not only head coach, but head of the whole operations. Way to go, guys! Another pathetic example of the media overblowing a mediocre coach to point where the people start to believe it. They might as well have hired media wife Tyrone Willingham.

LSU won the "national championship" last year and wasn't that good. This season, they lost 2 games and everyone was saying how great they were again, even though they squeaked by a number of teams because of TERRIBLE calls by the referees. You know what they say: "He'll get his in the end." The bayou weeps and I absolutely love it.

Sure LSU wasn't as good as they were last year, but when is 9-2 that bad, just because they aren't in for a championship doesn't mean they are terrible. The coach doesn't have as much to do with it as the players do, and how well they play, and the plays they make and the plays they dont make. We'll see how he does in Miami. He might not be that great of a coach, but he isn't that bad.

How about when LSU wins 60 games because of botched calls and also because some dirtbag misses 15 field goals in one game? Yeah, they were awesome.

ah no they didn't win 60 games because of bad calls and missed field goals. You can't give coach Nick Saban any credit for those wins can you, only for the losses eh. Well maybe they lost their 2 games that they did this year, not 60, because of bad calls and missed field goals too. They still have 9 wins this year, eventhough you're whining they still won the national championship last year. Nick Saban will be going to the NFL, maybe he wont have the same success, but Steve Spurrier didn't either..

Wonder what the Dolphin braintrust thought when Saban's team gave up a game winning 56 yard TD pass with 7 ticks left on the clock?

They were probably thinking that Saban has won the national championship last year and that his team is 9-2 this year. Oh yeah, I forgot, 9 and 2 is pretty bad...oops..

Do you really think there are any real football people in the Dolphin upper echelon? I think the Dolphins have been gravy training for years. Don Shula made them what they were and the franchise is just about out of gas. Tampa Bay moved to Miami.

Apparently this guy is out of his mind. How are you giving Saban credit for victories that happened because of bad calls by the refs? LSU was the luckiest team all season. Yeha, sometimes luck is in your favor, but you saw exactly what happened when Saban not only blew that timeout but also spiked it AND there was a guy wide open 50 yards downfield as time expired. Miami might not win a game for 5 years. Saban is another media cinderella that is completely unfounded.
