Actually the way i heard it Joe did ask for the position when he agreed to be the elem. phy ed teacher he also asked to be placed as a head bball coach. And that is why JR was FORCED to step down. This is how I heard from one or two sources.

NO NO NOP NO NO NO NO STO NO U heard wrong. Coach B didnt I MEAN DID NOT ask to be head coach. He was aksed to be head coach. AGAIN the admin asked him to be coach. OBVIOUSLY U do not like brumbaugh that is fine that is fine BUt your sources are wrong HE was hired by admin and board COACH B did not ask for the job

OK OK. My sources were wrong then. I'm not gonna argue on the subject anymore. I'm gonna just wish the best for the team, I hope coach Brumbaugh proves everything I said about him very wrong, I do. All I'm saying is good luck team. Good luck to my MOOSE

I am new to this forum. It is awesome. I know basketball and i watch alot of guys and girls games. Reading this NBC girls posts. Sto apparently is a small majority who thinks JR Love was a good coach. I saw him over the years and wasnt impressed at all. They never won the close game Never at all did they. There biggest mistake was getting rid of Dave Adams. Sto i read your posts this Brumbaugh doesnt no crap about basketball. Why didnt u apply for job then. I was under impression that it was advertised as I know one of my frineds applied for that job. I asssume Sto u no basketball but sounds like is getting personal against Coach brumbaugh. tHAT IS A SHAME WHEN THINGS GET THAT PERSONAL against a coach from fans perspective. So grow up and dont be so personal about it.

Easy hoopsfan. First off when your in high school they usually won't let you take over a head coaching position. Second I have nothing against Brumbaugh, just his methods of coaching, and that is all!!
