Great idea Bark. He seems to be the most knowledgeable girls basketball poster. Look out Rene Portland.

I am Polish :cheesy: . I'd love to be a coach someday, little to early for me to be thinking about that yet.

Now I wasnt going to post anything on last nights loss to a pretty good Claysburg team, in which Barton had 18 pts., because some people came in contact with are unappreciative of this, but I will continue to post just because I really don't have anything better to do. And I had to put my two cents in about what the Claysbur coach did last night, running up the score. I have never agreed with this in any sense. Basketball, you go up by 30 pts you take your starters out, YOU'VE WON THE GAME! You don't keep pounding up the score, no class. Well as the individual next to me stated, "If I'm Brumbaugh make a note of this, Claysburg won't be this good every year, and when there down I would just rack up the points." Unfortunatley I will be unable to attend tonights game at Fannett, because of Finals and such, perhaps someone could take over my duties? Ya Not?

yesterdays game with Claysburg....i agree the claysburg coach ran the score up....but i have to say..it might not be classy ...but its fun to do and i would have done the same thing...sometimes the girls need to be embarrassed....it may give them a clue to start playing as a team. We've always had a problem like that...but these girls shouldn't have one they have been playing ball together since they were young, atleast most of them...its lack of talent this year. give Coach B a break, look who he has to work with!?.... he has an awesome rebounder sunny carberry, an ok ball handler becky shaffer, when shes having a good game and isn't hurting... and an Amazing shooter this year kristi barton...if they could only work together the three of them.. the team would be alot better off. Jen long needs work, but shes young and has 3 more years..

keep working girls...you'll get it sometime.

I must have been at a different Claysburg vs. NB girls basktetball game because I do not feel the score was run up. Claysburg did not go up by over 30 points until around 3:30 left in the fourth when the "Mercy Rule" went in to effect. At this time I seem to recall seeing many of the jayvee players on the floor for Claysburg. If there was a starter on the floor, it may have been the sophmore who started. Claysburg has a very young team and is going to be good for the next couple of years.

It did not help NB cause when Shaffer (poing guard) left with an injury and the backup point guard fouled out.

In time Coach Brumbaugh, will have the program turned around.
