The Matrix definitely displays 'stage combat' at it's finest. The story line in these movies is so deep, i've seen the first one 5-6 times and I'm still learning new things each time I watch. Same with the second, only seen it 3 times but new things seem to develop each time. Amazing movies.

Thats what makes this movie so fantastic, it's a must buy because it's something that you can watch over and over again, very cool in this way. And Captain Dean, no shite it fake, by the way anyone who thought this movie was based on actual events, no matter how much this may suprise you, IT'S NOT REAL!!! Get a clue, people love action, people love violence, people love special effects, thus the reason the Matrix & Star Wars movies did so well.

The best thing about stage combat is the "knaps", we learned so much at that thing...mostly that "we like our friends, we don't want to hurt them." I think they should use some "John Wayne punches" in the Matrix, what do you think Bison1

Yes, the art of the knap is quite fascinating. Greatest thing is you'll never have to fight til the death.......because you're "actors" and you're just a"acting". Give me a 3,3,1,2,3...wait you start, you're 3 not mine.

First guy - "I'll lay on the ground you kick me"
Second guy - "I'm not doing that"

Oops I missed that block and made a fool of myself, let's try again.

I agree about adding some John Wayne punches in the Matrix, but only if they could use twiddle dee and twiddle dum in the movie as stunt doubles. Just wouldn't be the same without them.

Star wars and the matrix are for speds. I know its fake and thats why its dumb. To create those plots you need to smoke plenty of weed. Maybe i'm just not the fantasy world type. There real type of action movie is like Indiana jones. and yes i know they were created by the same person.

The stage combat guys overused the words safety and actors! Now to the topic....Chinese dub flicks are pretty bad. They don't even match the words to the mouth!

Indiana Jones is just as real as the Matrix is i guess. We always see a single man taking on a horde of cult memebers and then later communicating with a man who has been dead for centuries while trying to seek the holy grail. What reality do you live in?

Since you don't like movies once you know they're fake...I'm going to break some painful news to you. Rambo doesn't really kill everyone he sees when making those movies. They're fake killings. I know your jaw is probably hanging low enough to drag on the floor by now but it's the truth. Sorry I had to be the one to break it to you.

So what are you fav movies now, dean, now that you know Rambo was fake.
