The Eagles have been playing good defense but i dont think they can stop Vick. Between him running draws and throwing to Crumpler i think the Falcons win by 10.

i went a suprising 3 for 4 last week. the colts screwed me, but that is for another thread. i got these 2 teams matched up. actually, im not positive about this, but i believe i picked this match up at the beginning of the season. it seems obvious now, but back then, picking the falcons to make the nfc championship game was a bold call.
about the game itself, i have been under the impression all year that atlanta is the only team in the nfc that can compete w/ the eagles w/ or w/o TO. although the eagles defense has coralled running qb's in the past, i think they face a new breed this weekend. vick was in his prime against st. louis. that play where they faked the off tackle to the right and vick sprinted out to the left to pass or throw is unstoppable if duckett and dunn get rolling.
earlier in the year, the eagles lost to the steelers, a team that runs the ball before all else. this falcons team is very similar in that respect. they led the league in rushing. dunn and duckett and vick all had excellent rushing seasons.
i expect the falcons to have at least 250 yds rushing this week. their defense will put just enough pressure on mcnabb to force one or two crucial turnovers by #5. their special teams may even come up big w/ another return.
31-27 falcons

I still don't believe this Atlanta hype. Remember: this is basically the first time in the Eagles little run at NFC titles that are the under-dog going in. I would say the Falcons are the ones everyone is picking. I'm taking Philadelphia.

philly will win this game.it will be close but the run defense of eagles has improved with trotter in the middle.eagles offense will do well and move the ball but not always come up with a score.eagles 20 falcons 13.vick 6 carries for 45 yards.eagles defense 4 sacks and a interception.westbrook 120 total yards and 2 toucdowns.

i still consider philly the favorite in this game. this is the basically the same situation the eagles have been in the last 3 years. by picking the falcons, i feel like i am picking the upset. a trendy upset pick, but an upset pick nonetheless.
usually w/ the vegas lines, the home team gives away 3pts if both teams are even. the line i have commonly seen has the eagles favored by 4. that means that vegas thinks the eagles are 1 point better than the falcons straight up. i would expect this line to move down some though considering the amount of people who seem to like the falcons to win.

Bad weather on Sunday translate to Eagles win.

Listen, the only team in the NFL that still suffers from all that "different weather" crap is Indianapolis because Tony Dungy is an idiot.

the weather will slow vick down because he won't be able to make his quick cuts in the backfield to avoid the sack.less effective by vick equals eagles victory.

it will be the falcons because of ther defense and vick
