there will never be another coming of michael jordan, but lebron maybe the next best thing.

this is great for the cleveland cavaliers to actually get some highlights for once on sportscenter instead of the lakers or the 76ers

first of all LeBron James was more impressive last night in his NBA debut then anyone expected. He looked like he had been in the NBA for a few seasons not a few months... He played with poise and confidence that is unseen from a person of his age... not even 19 years old yet! I think it is very unfair to compare him to Michael Jordan but the media will anyways. Kobe, TMac and even Harold Miner have all been compared to the NBA's greatest player of all time. Kobe and TMac have had good careers to date but what about Harold Miner?? LeBron James is going to be the next LeBron James.... he will never be MJ nor should he expect himself to be.

I was proud to see he had an outstanding game simply based on the pressure that is resting on this 18 year old shoulders in his debut in the NBA. I hope he can be consistent throughout the year, silence any critics, and perform like he did in high school. The biggest thing will be next year to see if he can avoid a sophomore slump, but I'm thinking he'll be able to dominate and have success in the league.

If he turns out to be better than Jordan, than I will be very surprised. He needs to help get the Cavs into the playoffs first.

Personally, I think Lebron should buy the Cavs.....and trade himself to a contender......right now....he has no chance to get into the playoff's with that team...

LeBron will not leave Cleveland anytime soon... it's very near his hometown so that alone will make him want to stay. Theres only so much one person can do to help a basketball team. The Cavs have alot of young talent but what the lack is veteran leadership. In the next few years if they can make a few moves and get some older, more expierenced players they will become a playoff contender.

Went to see him play last night in Philly... wow! He's a complete player and very poised for only being 18. If he had teammates that could score he would avg 10 assists to go along with his 17ppg. Expect great things from this guy.

Who really cares about the NBA. They have this kid hyped up so much like its the second coming! As much hype as their has been he ought to average 50 points 25 rebounds and 25 assissts a game!

The NBA is a joke! AS bad as the defense is I could average 15 a game!
