first of all LeBron James was more impressive last night in his NBA debut then anyone expected. He looked like he had been in the NBA for a few seasons not a few months... He played with poise and confidence that is unseen from a person of his age... not even 19 years old yet! I think it is very unfair to compare him to Michael Jordan but the media will anyways. Kobe, TMac and even Harold Miner have all been compared to the NBA's greatest player of all time. Kobe and TMac have had good careers to date but what about Harold Miner?? LeBron James is going to be the next LeBron James.... he will never be MJ nor should he expect himself to be.

I was proud to see he had an outstanding game simply based on the pressure that is resting on this 18 year old shoulders in his debut in the NBA. I hope he can be consistent throughout the year, silence any critics, and perform like he did in high school. The biggest thing will be next year to see if he can avoid a sophomore slump, but I'm thinking he'll be able to dominate and have success in the league.

LeBron will not leave Cleveland anytime soon... it's very near his hometown so that alone will make him want to stay. Theres only so much one person can do to help a basketball team. The Cavs have alot of young talent but what the lack is veteran leadership. In the next few years if they can make a few moves and get some older, more expierenced players they will become a playoff contender.
