The seeding meeting is only a week away and the D-5 AA play-off picture is getting much clearer. According to the most current rankings provided by the D5 website, the top five teams are as follows: Bedford, Everett, Windber, CR, and North Star.
If the play-offs would start today, NS and CR would play each other with the winner facing Bedford while Windber and Everett would play. With that said, let's hear some thoughts about the potential play-off match ups as well as some predictions for the coming event.

Don't put Windber or the third seed the semi-final spot too quick....A .500 season for Tussey will give six teams a spot and a play-in game between the third and sixth seeds.

Tussey is in they got 3 games this week and even if they would lose them all they will still be .500 so they will be in the playin game

Adding Tussey to the mix definately makes for a tougher scenario as the Titans are always dangerous come this time of the year.

Windber 1-0
Everett 1-0
Ridge 3-0
Tussey 1-0

Guess who owns those records over those teams...

If Bedford does not win Districts this year in Basketball, it should be and probably will be considered a severe dissapointment. Bedford would seem to be the hands down favorite and who I would put my money on in the Playoffs.

I would agree that Bedford is a hands down favorite but I am also leary. Reason...Bedford has not been in the playoffs for a long time and although they are the most talented team, they will have the least playoff background from a player and coaching perspective. I wouldn't rule out an upset in the finals.

I look for the Tussey Titans to win at least one and maybe even crash the championship game party and I think the Everett kids may rise to the occassion in Coach Andy Hedrick's last season.

Everett and Tussey would have to show me alot more than what they did earlier in the season when they played Bedford, granted Everett played them the opening game of the Tip-off Tourney and I'm not sure if they played again. This might be the one rare case where a team will just totally out hustle and the case where the best athletes win. Bedford is not a showcase team by any stretch of the imagination, but thier athletic ability alone could be enough to carry them past any one of these district opponents.

Ham,

Bedford is 2-0 against Windber, the first game was not close at all unlike the second one.

My bad, I forgot about the Christmas Tourney. Either way, it just looks better for Bedford, 7-0 against district teams that will be playing for the championship. I'll take odds like that all day.
