I'm going to agree with 11th and voncap...With a guy Turk's height, teams had to pay attention to him, it didn't matter how bad he was. Now teams will be able to focus on Harris outside and Sotirokos underneath. If I were coaching, i'd much rather coach against Bedford minus Turk.
Bishop Caroll will have some scrappy players this year. We played them in summer league and they were tough. I also forecast that j-town will be unstoppable this year.
I look for J-town, Bedford, Central, and Caroll to be on top of the lhac
Johnstown will win the conference this year, but Westy, PC, BC, and Bedford should also contend with the Trojans. Central could prove to be in the thorn in the sides of many teams, also.
Westy - I know they have a big guy back from last year who was good, cant remember his name but he tore up our big man. After him all their other starters were seniors.
PC - Dziabo, he is a beast and probably the best overall player in the area, other than him it is thier jv team from last year. Their jv team last year wasn't nearly as good as the jv team two years ago.
McCort - Gates(from Richland),Cruz is very good and athletic and maybe Hawkins...I heard he isn't going out this year but not sure if that is true.
I think it will be about the same, if not better than football was. There were a few awful teams in football, there are only a couple of teams in the LHAC who shouldn't have much of a chance this year.
What teams in the lhac will be down this year? What will Cambria Heights or Somerset have this year? And what about Richland, they lost gates and tucker right?
