I talked to Morningstar yesterday. He said a few more weeks and he'll be on the court. Right now his physical therapy consists of chasing down squirrels in the woods and possum stompin'. He's well on his way back to full strength. Dub... come BACK!!!!

people gotta do what makes them happy. the team will be fine without him. put yourself in his shoes, try to understand his perspective.

Most of us only get the chance to play an organized sport (bball, football, wrestling) in highschool, you can hang out with a girl the rest of your life...do the right thing.

If he doesn't want to play, it would only hurt the team. Why play someone who doesn't want to be out there?

Thats a very good point and that relates to 'being in his shoes,' if he doesn't want to play thats the best for him and the team...just hate to see a kid not play a sport because of a girl. Just my opinion.

coach I don’t necessarily agree with u there...I don’t care if the kid doesnt want to be there at all...as long as he contributes to the team in a good way then I welcome him...example: brandon weyandt (nbc's version) in wrestling...he hated the sport...never wanted to be at practice...was always complaining...but countless times, he came through for us big time to help us win several matches...

RunandGun, I was kidding about the whole girlfriend thing, I respect Wiand's decision, it would probably give him more time to focus on baseball anyway, if thats what he was planning to do....and sorry again RunandGun if i offended you or anyone else...
