The Bison opened their season with a 4-1 win over visiting Bishop McCort this afternoon. They took a 1-0 lead off of a Dan Patterson hr and never looked back. BM tied the game in the 6th, but a 3 run bottom of the 6th lifted the Bison.

McCort is supposed to be the cream of the crop this year in the LHAC. Maybe the success of the football and basketball teams will carry over for a 3rd sport? Good job guys, winning with 4 sophomores starting. Sounds like a solid future for Bedford baseball..

ridge in a week and a day...

You mean they NEVER looked back with the score tied after 5 1/2 innings?

Sore loser? And I don't believe any players were on here. Just followers of the program who are proud to see them pick up a win over a good LHAC team in McCort...

Never looked back meaning they never lost the lead.

I was just doing something that this very site was created for: reporting.

To me, never looked back meant they ran away with the game from that point. You know, like getting 5 runs in the 2nd and winning 9-2.

Hey, maybe McCort had some hockey players on the team and they were tired. Good enough excuse, username6?
