I don't know about that, stickel. Ridge may not have as many top seeds, but they still stand a pretty good chance. I'd pick Ridge girls on this one, the guys could go either way.

aliquippa's tommie campbell ran a 10.08 in the beaver county meet!!! there are only a handful of high schoolers as fast or faster than him in the entire u.s.

There is no way that the guys side could go either way! Bedford by far will win this. On the girls side bedford gals could easily walk away with the win if they run, jump and throw what they are capable of. Bedfod girls already beat ridge pretty badly earlier in the season.

Bedford boys team could win tonight's meet by a record margin of victory if they choose to.

Depends. Last year they lost the county meet the day after the LHAC meet. If Bedford actually cares about winning the county meet, and his athletes aren't too worn out from last night, they could. Bedford's guys didn't do quite as well as they could have last year because of two meets in a row. I am also not convinced that the Bedford coach actually cares about winning it. The County meet is for bragging rights, but the District meet is the ultimate reward, besides going to states. I think that Bedford will try and keep their studs healthy and happy while preparing for Districts. That means it swings in Ridge's favor, at least if Bedford is smart. Why risk an injury for bragging rights with Districts less than a week away?

Braging rights are all that seem to matter around here anymore. I'd be surprised if the boys don't win tonight for Bedford. The girls could swing either way, but the guys in the blue and white should win, and rather easily...

That's assuming two things: 1) they come out to win and not just for practice for districts and 2) that they are still able to perform to their peak despite having just given their all last night at the LHAC meet.
Like I said, if Bedford were smart, and having the people they have, they wouldn't try for victory so much as just getting practice for their guys in the various events. They have the talent to win districts and send several people to states.

yeah really...if bedford comes just for practice tonight for districts they still could win...
