Hoopsfan, Nevins is a Freshman but Laratonda is a sophmore.........the Nevins girl could probably woop up on me so bad in basketball...it wouldn't even be funny....thats why I am a wrestler......
I think Central should be very good this year, talented starters and i'm sure they will have a talented 2nd string and Possibly 3rd string....I would like to see them run all over BC....

Ok they have 5 seniors that is fine that is good. But will Nevins and Laratonda get to play much this season. These gals, by the way I have seen them play last year, are good. I mean good. They should see considerable playing time. Nevins can shoot the ball just like her bro did for the boys varsity team. She could be a good zone breaker. Laratonda gal is all around good player. Can shoot play defense and can run the floor. Need to get these gals in VARSITY GAMES

no offense but we have other players that could do the same thing.... ferry and feathers are the best guards we have on the team.. shannon and nevins are good.. yeah and they will get some big minutes no doubt .. but they dont make the team... each person on the team is offering something different and with everyone working hard i think numerous girls will get varsity playing time. nevins is a freshman and this is a step up from jr high ball.. shes going to be a great player but give her some time and experience first
Central girls have an all- around good team. They have all their starters back this year along with Shannon, Nevins, and dont forget Jena Isenburg. This year should be a great year for them and will give the younger players good playing time that will give their future team a good advantage.

We have many girls that are going to contribute to the games this year.. I think for the underclassman the main thing will be who does what during the JV games.. If they're having an on night, I could see any of them getting alot of playing time.. But we have strong seniors.. We're just gunna have to wait and see!
i would love to see u ladies get after Bishop Carroll this season. I hate to admit that BC is good again BUT I would love to see u gals take it to them/ When is this game so ic an mark on my calendar? After reading these posts I ddiint no u had some starters back this season. I guess it was just two years ago when u ladies were Dist champs. U gals are AA right? who in AA will give u biggest challenge??

BG will probably be one of the toughest team in AA.. I think they only lost one senior, Emily Kirsh, and I don't think she contributed much anyway.. They have back Angela Greaser as a senior who made Altoona Mirror 1st team as a junior.. If anyone knows any other tough AA teams, let me know
