I disagree...

I believe they both require strength, stamina, and mental skills.
Its is real hard to go out there 1 on 1 on the mat cuz if u make a mistake u got no1 to back u up but in bball u got help cuz its more of a team sport.
I bet if you went 1 on 1 with a wrestler in your weight group you would get your butt kicked. O n the other hand isf the Jr high bball team is playing a team of wrestlers that has never played before..then it would most likely go to the more expirienced bball players. So you see they are both probably equally as hard.

If you make a mistake in wrestling and your opponent scores 2 points on you.
If you make a mistake in bball and yuor opponent scores 2 points on you.

Which situation is easier to come back from.

In my opinion, 2 points in basketball is easier to comeback on than wrestling...you have 4 other players out there shooting at the same basket trying to score. Wrestling it's you and only you trying to regain ground.

It also depends on who you are wrestling or playing bball against......if you give up two points to a defensive specialist in wrestling....you might as well give it up...they are really hard to score on.....or in basketball if your defense gives up a few points.......and your offense can't gain it back....then you lose its that simple.........

yes very true. And like we all have said it depends on the situations you're in. Comparing sports is a never ending argument....each to his own.

Whats great about wrestling is that if you want to be really good at the sport, all you need to have is the determination and desire to lift and train.

In basketball its alittle different, i know guys that busts their butts every practise and not get any playing time, when there's other guys who slack off and dont care about practise who play all the time.

Basketball is more of a given talent and wrestling is more of a skill that is developed from long hard work
