Wrestling vs. Basketball
Yes determination and training are all the keys to very successful wrestler. But the mental aspect of wrestling is the part that amazes me. Not only do you have to tough through all the weight losing, the injuries, and the pure exhaustion from not eating all week, you have to be on top of your game mentally to excell. Wrestling is not all just go out and who ever is the strongest will win. Who ever has the absolute best technique, skill, and mind for the sport will 9 times out of 10 be victorious. The one time out of 10 is when a good wrestler makes a mental error and maybe gets caught on his back

How can you compare 2 totally different sports? They are both different and so it's not really fair to compare them. If people wanted you to compare them, they'd make the sports more alike.
Each one requires different qualities....that's why some play bball and others wrestle. Some people are better at one sport than the other, so of course they will think one is better but thats because of the qualities that certain person has.

Well yeah I know...but these guys are taking it too seriously. And besides you can't really compare 2 totally different sports. They are both interesting n unique. I support both...
Haha, I mean wrestling...guys in spandex, what's not to like? ...and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication, you either have to give it your all or not give any... And then there's basketball...I like the aggressiveness and it takes a lot skill and teamwork also.

i don't get why people get so into this crap, a whole bunch of people are turning all warlike and crap arguing their case for basketball and wrestling. It's just a thing basketballers and wrestlers like to fool around with each other, the real truth is that all real sportsman have a respect for both and all sports.

look wrestle is a mental straining sport even though your only out there for 4:30 minutes in jr. high you can barely lift your arms after a hard match. Basketball requires good movement, memory, and aim. But a question, does basketball practices in sweatshirts in 90 degrees or not eat for a week. That proves that wrestling is a better sport but it also fun to watch.

i think wrestling and basketball are 2 tottaly different sportsy wrestling u have to be stong and move fast have to beable to not eat and just like he said rund in sweat pants and sweat shirts in 90 degrese weather its very tough sport i should know my brother was a very good at it and he always had to watch what he ate and run and lift every day he would be tired and now hes out of it and i dont think if u play basketball ur stronger because u have to lift weights every day at practice in wrestling and basketball u just like carry a ball that weighs like 2 pounds if that
i dont know very much about basketball but i dont think it is that hard all u really have to do is run up and down the court dribbling a ball and shoot it is mostly skill and learning
there for wrestling is more challanging and u have to put more effort into it

the bottom line is wrestling is the best take it from george childers hes awsome

I said it here couple months ago. Best athletes around are NBA basketball players no doubt about it. Wrestling takes alot of stamania and toughness. I enjoy watching a good high school wrestling match. however basketball players in general IN MY OPINION only are better athletes and more athletic.
