i think the loss last night pretty much has put them in a bad situation for the playoffs....they still have a shot considering the weakness of their division...but i'm hoping the bengals can pull it out and win the division!!!
If the steelers win out the rest of the year, which i hope they can do, Would they still be able to make the playoffs? I mean they will beat the Ravens, Bengals, and Browns ( assuming they win out ). Would that still put them on top of the AFC North. Cleveland is on the downfall, and that would be the only team that poses a problem to the steelers WHEN they beat them. I just dont see how they can finish 9-7 and still make the playoffs. Right now it would be better if they finished the season around the 6-10 mark and end up getting a high first round draft pick. Maybe get some ppl to replace the not-so-great Steelers secondary.
bison1....yes as long as they are on top of the division...they could be in with a 9-7 record...but that means they'd have to win out....and i just dont see this steeler team doing it....but as mentioned before...this is a very weak division...and i believe a 9-7 record will win it
Make the playoffs? What team have you guys been watching this year? The Steelers haven't shown a glimmer of anything close to a playoff caliber team even with the watered down parity of the NFL.

The Steelers wont make the playoffs. they played horrible this year and as usual there defense couldnt stop the pass. In order to win games there defense needs to step it up. Defense wins games offense just scores points.
