Yeah...how are teams like Everett and Tussey doing? Any thoughts on them? Ridge girls have only had 2 open gyms for jr high so far and I've only been to one. I am thinking though, that most of the starters will be the few freshmen playing. There are a couple 8th graders that are quite talented too. Our coaches are Clevenger, Johnson, and Crist. I think we'll be having a good season if we put forth the effort and determination. :!:

Chestnut Ridge Lions...let's step it up a notch this year! 8)

Well the few freshman that I think will make up the team are Andie O'Neal, Heather Dovala, Faith Corle, and maybe Kim Cuppett...some 8th graders that stick out in my mind that will also make up our team are Jess Weyant, Kayla Brown, and Kaci Batzel. We're hoping for a good season and I know these girls are determined for a lot of wins. 8)
Any players from other teams that you think will play a big role in the team or that stick out in your mind?

Well the CR Lady Lions have officially started practice! We're looking at an alright team...we've lost many good players from last year but are hoping to keep the skill with some of the players they still have from the years before. It's looking like the starting five are going to be made up of all freshman except for one 8th grader. Nothing's definate though yet. Just hoping to have a good season. Good luck ladies!

Well after the Sideling Hill Tourney that was held at Everett this past weekend, anyone have new comments or thoughts to add? I was wondering how Everett and Bedford teams are doing this year, along with NBC...
Ridge is still about the same as I said in my last post. Our starting line-up consists of Heather Dovala (point guard), Faith Corle (guard), Andie O'Neal (guard), Kim Cuppett (forward), and Kaci Baztel (forward). We have a pretty good team this year but we need to keep working hard and practice some close range shots. Other than that, we're looking decent.

Everett Girls
I think that the Everett Jr. high girls team is looking very well this year and will go far. I think right now they are undefeated, but i think that they lost one in a tourney. They lost to NBC but beat them in the regular season game. Everett Girls really look good they play well together and i think that if they stick together they will go very far. I think that Everett Basketball will be a power house in the future when these girls come up. I guess we will find out! :!:
