Well as most of you expected, Everett slipped past Ridge by a few points...I forget the exact score. It was a very close game and I'd have to say it was also a pretty poorly officiated game. Congrats to Everett though.

By the end of the 1st quarter, the score was tied up at 4-4. During the 2nd quarter, Ridge scored a few points while Everett took on a bigger lead by scoring a few 3's and some outside shots, leaving the score at 8-17 by halftime. The 2nd quarter was what hurt Ridge the worst... Nextly during the 3rd quarter Ridge regained their confindence enough to make the score 15-21. And finally during the 4th quarter Everett was getting pretty nervous when some fouls weren't being called for them and Ridge was catching up. But in the end, Everett pulled it off by a few points...6 points to be exact.

Ling is AWESOME! 75center worships the ground she walks on, but doesn't want to admit it!

Tonight Ridge racked up another win against Southern Fulton. It was extremely close throughout the entire game, but the 4th quarter was what decided who would win this nerve-racking game. During the 4th quarter with 15 seconds left Ridge was down by one...the score was 25-26. Southern Fulton was shooting a foul shot...it was one and one....and she missed. Ridge got the rebound and took it down the court. With only a few seconds bearing in this game, Kaci Batzel took a chance and shot....and indeed, it went in!!!! :D The final score of the game: Ridge 27, S. Fulton 26. Good job ladies!

*Next game for Ridge Girls: Monday; Bedford (Home) 4:00
