Scott came up big when he had to and Strayer choked at states, as much as you hate to admit it, he did. You have to reward Scott for his efforts. If I am Scott I take that as a slap in the face and make it a point to silence all the critics.

I tend to disagree with you saying Strayer coked at states. You can say he lost his first or second ( i can't remember which it was) match by getting caught, or just getting turned up and pinned....However you call it, but i dont consider it coking when you come back to win 5 straight matches and take the bronze at states. It takes a lot to come back from a lose when your competing with the best of the best. He could have easily gave up there, but he showed he is one of the best. Hats off to Garrett though.....he's gonna be tough to beat. I can't wait for the Strayer vs. Scott rematch!!!!.....(I heard he's not gonna let Scott win 4. Just something to think about.)

It's also alot harder to go undefeated at States and take home the gold. No matter how you put it, Strayer was NOT the #1 wrestler at his weight last year, PERIOD. Scott won, let it go. If Strayer finishes better this year then hats off to him and he deserves it, but until them, the title goes through Scott.

Never did i say anything about Strayer being the better wreslter......if you read what i posted you could have easy realized all i was trying to say is that Strayer didn't coke at states. As any athlete knows...sometimes you win some and some times you lose some, that is how sports work. But what jake did was show he had courage enough to come back from a defeat like he had (seeing how he was the returning state champion.)

I was surprised to see Tony Lascari ranked so highly. He is ok, but not like Sal.
