Basse,

I agree with you totally. Turk made 3 or 4 uncontested lay ups a night if it was a good night for the big ogar. Some might say that thats a great thing, but not when he had upwards of 10 opportunities/ game. The kid rebounded every once and a while when he decided to jump. And made layups when the stars were aligned right that night. Foul shots were his masterpiece and he only made 5-11 on a superb night.

If you cant tell, there is not one bison fan happier than i am that he is gone this year, sure he was a great threat, but he was a disease to the team. He was the teams problem last year. Normally i dont get on a single players case, but he rubbed everybody associated with bedford basketball wrong. The team should be very very good this year. BRING IT CENTRAL!!!

when we played bedford last year he made most of his lay ups. bedford has some tall underclassmen, but they're not quite as big as turkovich. we played a 23 zone against them and harris didnt even reach double figured he rarely even looked to shoot.

I saw central play last year and they lost some really good seniors. I saw the JV team play and they were ok but I dont seee them being maybe little over .500 if even that

The Central game you are talking about last year at Central was Turkovich's best game of the year. He came off the bench and actually played aggressive and made most of his lay ups. You guys didn't see him play every night so I can see how you would think he was good. Also I think that was one of Harris's worst games, he wasn't on offensively and he got ripped up by Horton.

Can someone from Central tell me who figures to be their leading scorer?...I am guessing Snyder because he was pretty good last year.

i would guess snyder would be the leading scorer. we will be a have a fairly balanced offense with 8 players that could hit double figures a night. horton didn't even guard harris that night we played zone and ty nevins was guarding him.

I meant Horton ripped Harris up offensively. He scored alot of points(around 30 I think) and had about 16 boards I believe.
