NB spirit night

Post by Smiteye89 »

It doesnt get much better than Northern Bedfords spirit night for wrestling. I'm proud to be a member of the winning teams of the past two years. Will it be a third this year......i guess weel see.

Bedford athletes have been graced with some of the best fans through the years. The late "Pappy" Floyd Harris, as many of you have mentioned, attended just about every Bedford sporting event through his years; you would see him at every event always with a respectful and courteous attitude towards everyone. He just loved to watch his grandsons, as well as any other athlete, perform well. One of the more interesting characters from Bedford is the previously mentioned Johnny Howard. Through his days he's been to nearly all of Bedford's football games and while John Black was the head basketball coach at Bedford attended all of the basketball games.

of course so. if S.O.C. plays he definately deserves a fan. but so do everyone else. i do not discreminate due to race, color, size, beardlength, creed, or nationality. all players are worthy of cheering in my book.

I'd have to say the best fan around would be one from Central. His name is Barry Mellot a teacher and an avid boys basketball fan. Him and his wife and kid come to every game home and away, no matter how far or what the road conditions might be like. He takes on the elements to come out and watch his team. The man goes to away scrimmages for garsh sake, hes gotta be the best fan around.
