I completely disagree good buddy! Coaches make a huge difference. I say Max should go to Tussey and prove my statement.

all im saying is that if central, richland, someset, whoever it may be, if they get a great group of kids come through at the same time and this happens,, they will be able to do well in the league,,maybe win the league inspite of the fact that they have been losing regularly. i have seen this happen many places over the last 25 years and sometimes the the big year will have a lasting effect on a down program. or it may be a 1 or 2 year thing. for your information, central was a regular power in the big 8 for 2 distict time periods of more than 7 years,,,,that i can think of. will they ever do well or win the lhac? i dont know but time will tell us!

As a side note RICHLAND is trying to get into the westpac. they are single A classification for next two years and enrollment is down there for a while. They want out of LHAC badly. They have officially requested to be in westpac havent heard anything yet on request though.

Maybe the powers to be at Central should check with the Gurus at Bishop Carroll to see how they made the adjustment so quickly. lol. After all, they came from the "small school" Heritage Conference and didn't need any adjustment time to compete in the LHAC.

Doing well in a tough conference isn't about the conference. It's a testament to the program.Bishop Carroll had"their ducks in a row" before they joined the LHAC.If Central gets the right guy, that can get not just the kids, but the community to believe in the direction they are heading;they will compete with the elite(maybe even in a year or 2).If he can't,then you have another Lewistown in the making.(close to 30 straight sub .500 seasons)

tubmill, everyone in the state knows how bishop carrol compeats in the lhac, that small single A school could have beaten most any team in district no matter what size this year. carrol letter of intent day is feb 4 so i know that their coaching gurus are all working hard right this minute lining up future carrol teams. with the talent they get in im sure that even u could coach them to a winning season

eagle: there were no ducks to line up for BC, the other ducks flew away and BC was the only one left on the pond! They had to join the LHAC.

i believe eagle meant that by having their ducks in a row, that they already had a program established and knew what they were doing, therefore making the switch to the mighty LHAC was much easier
