Game-time decisions by Your Literary Hero have gotten me 0-2 on the week so far, so I need to make adjustments. Here's the weekday picks.
Georgia Tech vs. NC State:

- This has upset written all over it. However, despite Amato having what was touted as the best defensive line in the nation, where the hell are they? If the Wolfpack lets Ball pass on them, this could actually get ugly. But something stinks here. NC State is not as bad as they look. They are, however, quickly turning into a team that is unpredictable anymore. Give me Tech by 3 or 25.
FAU vs. LA Lafayette:

- It'll be a cold day in hell when I pick LAUGHayette. FAU is so bad, though. Give me the Owls. Embick, you better look better than you did against oSu or I'm punching you in the face.
Syracuse vs. UCONN:

- I have faith that Greg Robinson can turn that program around. However, you must move the ball to win games. Ask Penn State. UCONN will win this game. And they should, they have 2 RB's who are gonna get drafted. Tune in Friday night to see 2 teams battle it out for a BCS bid. I'll be in my apartment with a bottle of vodka and a razor blade, desperately trying to convince myself that Big East football is NOT as bad as I think, and is worth having a BCS bid.
