PREDICTIONS
BC 47- CV 7... BC will easily achieve this win. It could be ugly... real ugly.
Blairsville 21- SH 12... I don't know. I'm guessing here.
BA 28- JV 14... Bellwood-Antis has the experience in this one.
Portage 35- United 14... Portage does not let down after last week.

I agree with BC over CV. I think everyone does actually. I just hope CV isn't too surprised. I would hate for them to think they have a chance since they smashed a powerhouse Berlin team 50-0 last week.
I think Blairsville vs. Southern Huntingdon is the game of the week in D6A playoffs. Garlock vs. Dettorre. This is going to be a great game. I'm not even that confident on my pick, but I'm going with Detorre just because he's consistently good every year and he knows how to get those kids ready for big games. I won't be surprised if SH comes away with the close win though.
Bellwood vs. Juniata Valley. I think you have to go with the defending district champions on this one, but I wasn't real impressed with the way Bellwood played against Guilfoyle last week. The score doesn't give that game much justice. BA's defense just didn't look like a championship defense should. But chalk another one up to old man Hayes. Drost and Kleinfelter get enough points for the win.
As for Portage and United: going with Portage's record this season, you obviously say this is a no brainer, but then again, you look at Gary "Goose's" record in the playoffs and you have to wonder. I'm not giving him any credit with the win this Friday. His players carry his sorry butt this week. He just better watch some film next week or it'll be same old story for the Mustangs.

I personally think that CV has enough talent to pull out a win... I dont think that their normal game plan will work though... I think in order for CV to even have a chance Coach marshall will also have to coach a big game, because CV has the personelle as they proved in most of their games this season, but I think if Coach marshall coaches a big game Vince turner (areas leading tackler) will have a HUGE game and upset BC, if any of those dont happen, I dont see too much of a chance for Valley... Good Luck

I really don't think CV has the chance. CV may have some talented players, but BC has that also. BC also has A LOT of experience. CV just doesn't have the firepower to pull an upset, and they haven't really even seen a team of this calibre. BC plays schools twice their size (and quality teams) week after week and they have proven themselves.
I hope that it is a good game... I really really really wish it would be. BUT, I don't think that will happen unless BC all gets the Bird Flu and doesn't show up. They have an undefeated season for a reason, and in the LHAC that is a real accomplishment.
BC by 3....TDs.

Bellwood and BC in thre finals. That could be a great game if they both make it which I think they will.
