We can't even get rid of this crappy system. How disappointing is it that when we are all set to cause an uproar, the choke-artist program in Blacksburg does what they do every year: CHOKE.

Here's the situation right now. Texas and USC are undefeated and ranked 2 and 1, respectively. USC will win out, because they are superior to everyone in the nation. Texas will win out because their conference is very weak this year and because the Big 12 North is littered with garbage programs. Alabama is ranked third, and I am guaranteeing you LSU blows that team off the field. They're gonna get murdered by a team who is going to go to a BCS bowl and get murdered themselves. You have a Miami team who has played 6 straight quarters where they were so impressive they'd beat everyone in the nation. If FSU can actually win a game, and not flop like they have the past few years, they'll get to go up against the Canes again, and everyone will see what I said in week 1 about the best team losing that game. Miami will beat FSU by 30 points. Canes are totally on track, and it is not some fluke or some over-hype crap. That team is dominant. But, Miami could win their games by 70 points and not egt to play for the national title. Instead, someone will get to be thrown to the wolves. That will hopefully be Notre Dame or Alabama, who Miami would simply destroy. Especially Alabama. Then you have a Penn State team who is very good but hopefully will not have to play Miami. The other teams they can beat, or make it respectable.

The bottomline is that the SEC is weak and that will be very apparent in January, if not this upcoming weekend, when Auburn beats UGA, SC beats Florida, and LSU POUNDS Alabama.

The BCS is going to work out, and all those people who support it are going to have 1 more year as evidence to support their cause. The only team we can rally behind as for getting screwed is Miami, and they have a loss. We're screwed.

I don't think it is right at all.... playoffs probably wouldn't give you those two as finalists and might not give you either as champion.

Those 2 are from the weakest of the power 5 conferences in my opinion. I'd rate them...

Would they get through the other schedules without a blemish? ...tough to tell since they don't play those games/schedules.

I'd love it if everybody had 1 loss going into the final game because then the BCS would really be hosed. It won't happen, but we can only dream. This year, an 8 team playoff would.....well I'm gonna make a separate post for that right now!

TAE, remember that Miami's best player is out for the season. Moss is done. Also, Wright is only a sophomore. They have a great defense. However, they couldn't beat Texas nor USC right now. The BCS is wrong. I agree. However, it's totally right this season to this point.

He didn't miss a beat in one game. Don't make your judgment in one game. You guys have made your judgments on VTech after playing no one all season by saying they should be #2. They actually played a team as good as them. They got knocked out. They didn't deserve to be on the same field as Miami. He'll miss a beat, just keep watching their games. He's a good back. He's combined with a sophomore QB that's not a standout. That doesn't make a good combination. Wait and see.

Defense will keep them in every game. I disagree about Wright, I think he's an excellent quarterback.

Kyle Wright isn't excellent YET, but he's developed very well and matured a lot since the Florida State game. So has Drew Weatherford, but if that game were right now rather than at the start of the season, Miami would go unbeaten, and they'd come up with a win over Florida State, simply because their QB is at a much higher level.
