thats the thing about school sports, you have to wait your turn, and i'm sure next year, Max Something will get his turn, (and with a name like Max Something, he might even get a sweet shoe deal)

we have a tall kid, but he isn't on the jr hi team. I don't think that he's six-five, bu the is very tall.

You don't wait your turn, you earn your turn. Just because someone is a senior or 9th grader (in jr high), and started the year before doesn't mean they already have the starting position.

Bubba: Have you ever been on a real shrimping boat?
Forrest: No, but I've been on a real big boat.

but i was taking about if the athletes are equal and one has waited more time htan the other the one who gets the starting position is usually the one who has been there longer. I never said anything about not earning your turn and gettin a free ride cuz your older. older kids work just as hard as the others do, or else they don't play, it's that simple.

now if ppl can just refrain from quoting my posts and tryin to twist and contort my statements, i'll be happy.

If they are equal than the coach will put the player in that he thinks will better help the team. It's that simple. Your above statements were rather blunt and confusing.

I was just "wording your above statements better" thats all. No need to take offense or anything. I don't see anything in the rules about not being able to quote anyone either. So just chill out.

Bedford's got a great starting lineup with speed. They are also tough off the bench as well with people like mike salas and David Dudukavich. Should be a good year.

The best thing about Bedford Jr. High isn't the players -- it's the coach. Steverino, who's underappreciated, knows basketball. He knows how to get even weak teams to succeed -- so when he has some talent, his teams can be tough.

Is this steverino you speak of The man they call Scruff.
The Gator knows of him. How long has it been since Anderson(don't know his first name) coached.
