Here we go.
1. Colts -- undefeated, but still have the Steelers left on the schedule
2. Steelers -- need to keep Big Ben and RB's healthy to go all the way
3. Giants -- this is a very good offensive team, great WR's, a Manning at QB
4. Panthers -- sitting in a good position at midseason, Steve Smith has been insane this year
5. Bengals -- one of their two losses came to the Steelers, a great turnaround since last season, Carson Palmer is getting the job done
6. Falcons -- Vick is a great threat, however, his passing game will cost the Falcons in the end
7. Cowboys -- they should have one loss, could be tough come playoff time if they get in, they're in the best division in football
8. Patriots -- won 3 out of the last 4 Super Bowls, don't count them out
9. Broncos -- Jake Plummer at QB isn't going to get you far in the playoffs, if they even make it
10. Seahawks -- Alexander is one of the best RB's in the game, Hasselbeck is a good QB, will be tough come playoff time
There you have it. That's a real top 10 Power Rankings.

1. Steelers-have the best running game in the league + Big Ben.
2. Colts-They are undefeated, have payton manning plus edge. Defence is good but not great. They will however lose to the Steelers.
3. Panthers-got the running game, passing game, and a pretty good defence, I look for them to make the playoffs for sure.
4. Bengals-with carson palmer at the helm they are good, i think that thye need to use chris perry more than they do he is an explosive player and can be a momentum shifter.
5. Giants-manning is still young and still makes some bad desicions, but he is a good quarterback, they have good wide outs as well as tiki barber.
6. Cowboys-Their lack to make the big play could cost them, terry glenn has been a big part of the offence, they cant seem to rap up close games in the 4th quarter. A playoff bound team?Probably.
7. Falcons-vick is a good scrambler everyone knows that, but he can only throw outside the pocket if they want to be a superbowl team they need to keep him in the pocket, and pick up T.O. They really need an explosive wideout.
8. Redskins-need a new quarterback, if they dont end up doing good look for them to get one of the good quarterbacks in the draft, but i think that they will make it to the playoffs.
9. Cheifs-with priest holmes retiring, they still have larry, they need to pick up a good wideout and they have improved on defence.
10. Patriots-they are the patriots that all i have to say.

What about the JAGS???? They have beaten the Bengals and Steelers so far and have a weak schedule to finish up.

The Jags beating the Steelers was a fluke. If Tommy Maddox hadn't thought that he was playing soccer after the 74 yard kick return, the game is over. The Jags are decent, they just don't have a good offense to compliment thier pretty solid defense.

How are the Steelers the team to beat? The team to beat is New England. Until someone else is Super Bowl champs, New England is the team to beat. And they have a much easier schedule from here on out. Let's not forget that they are banged up and also won the Super Bowl which means they automatically have the toughest schedule the following year. They have already played multiple conference winners.

I agree with TAE, the Pats are the team to beat. They control their own destiny. They know how to win the Super Bowl, unlike the Steelers and Colts players. They always seem to choke. I think this year will be different. However, the Pats are the team you need to beat if you're going to win it all.

Colts are the team to beat. They are 8-0, and unlike years past, they have the number 1 scoring defense in the league.

Not true, ace. Team to beat because of what? Based on what? You have to have accomplished something before you are given that title. NE is the team to beat until there is no time on the clock in this year's Super Bowl.
