PIAA Umpire charged with unlawful contact with a minor

A PIAA official was arrested for meeting a "12 year old girl" after meeting her in a chatroom that was actually an undercover cop posing as the girl. this is sick and they need to find a way to eliminate people like this from the PIAA officiating crew. i had this guy many games in the Kelley Federation and also saw him umpire city league games. you would never have thought he was a sexual predator. thoughts appreciated.

I am suprised that PIAA does not have us do background checks. Like all the other leagues that I do. I have to do checks every year. Little League and AYSO do this as mandatory.

that cop needs to grow up and act his age and gender. i mean it was helpful this one time, but c'mon that can be seen as a major character flaw. hollywood does'nt act his age on bc but you can at least tell he's older than twelve.
