The "2005-2006" W.P.I.A.L. basketball season tips off on Friday, December 2nd.
Here are the Top '10" teams and players in Boys Class (AA).

Jonathan Baldwin, Aliquippa, 6-6, Soph., F
Promising 10th-grader who will combine with Herb Pope to make formidable inside game.
Ryann Bradford, Quaker Valley, 6-5, Sr., F
Combines with Amir Johnson to make potent one-two punch. Bradford averaged 18 points a game as a junior.
Antonio DiMaria, Bishop Canevin, 6-5, Sr., F-G
Won't be eligible to play until late December after transferring from Sewickley Academy in the middle of his junior year. Has signed with Duquesne University.
Lance Jeter, Beaver Falls, 6-3, Sr., G
Made first-team all-state as a junior. Averaged 20.4 points last year and has 1,617 career points.
Amir Johnson, Quaker Valley, 5-9, Sr., G
For the first time in high school, he's at the same school two years in a row. Played at Allderdice as freshman and Sewickley Academy as a sophomore. Averaged 23 points a game last year and has a few Division I college offers.
Steve McNees, Shenango, 6-2, Sr., G
Already has signed with Duquesne University. Was the second-leading scorer in WPIAL last year (26 ppg). Has 1,421 career points.
Herb Pope, Aliquippa, 6-9, Jr., F
Made commitment to Pitt during sophomore year, but has since opened up his recruiting again. Had excellent summer at camps and AAU tournaments and some rank him among top 20 juniors in country.
Terrelle Pryor, Jeannette, 6-6, Soph., F
A two-sport star (football-basketball) who already is ranked among top sophomores in the country. Averaged 16 points a game as a freshman and had more than 30 dunks.
Josh Taylor, Brentwood, 6-7, Sr., F
Unheralded player who might be one of the best in the WPIAL. Has signed with Eastern Kentucky and averaged 19.3 ponits last season.

Combines with David Theis to make a nice inside-outside punch. Averaged 13.5 points as a junior and made all-section.
Elijah Fields, Duquesne, 6-2, Sr., F
Football star also is a force on hardwood, averaging 16 points a game last year for WPIAL champions.

Coming off a big sophomore season when he averaged 18.3 points and was the leading vote-getter on the all-Section 3 team.
