If you know of anyone that can throw it down in a game let me know and i'll block it. But seriously if you know of anyone then put it in here.

Clapper can definitely dunk. the Gator also assumes that Harris can throw down also. What about Miller from Everett or Barefoot from Ridge. Any jams coming from them or not.

In an honest opinion, in highschool, does dunking matter? Now don't get me wrong, watching a guy put it down is the best and it really fires up the crowd and it's just cool to see. What are the true advantages of a player on a team that can dunk...any thoughts??

there is obvious advantages. can jump higher to block shots or grab rebounds which can shift the momentum in your favor.

yea, but there are lots and lots of people who can block shots, get rebounds, etc. but can't dunk. I maybe getting a little technical about this and I apologize. But I'm saying with just simply dunking--> does that give an obvious advantage over another team?

blocking someone out will achieve the rebounds, not being able to jump higher. (although it helps) as for blocking shots, that's a skill in itself. it takes a little bit more then just sticking your hand in the air. you don't really get many chances in a game to dunk.

no because there aren't the insane athletes like in other parts of the country who are as tall as the forwards around here with 35" verticals.
