althought seeing a dunk around here in high school bball is great and gets me fired up... i'd much rather have someone on my team that can shoot the three ball consistently... i'll take 3 points instead of 2 anyday of the week...

yea, thats an even better point...being able to shoot would be a more obvious advantage than being able to dunk. And 3 pts. are definitely better than 2.

very true you need to be able to score, but if you have an intimidating person in the lane that gobbles up every block and rebound it is tough for the other team to win. you definetly need a good shooter. you need great defensive players as well.

I would say the advantage of dunking is that if u can do it, its the highest percentage shot in the game. If u have the skills to be able to get to the rim its not hard 2 drop in thru the cylinder. However not many ppl in high school around the area are good enough to make a dunk consistently, heck many ppl arent even comfortable using their left hand for a layup (or right for the southpaws). So unless ur tall and can jump out the gym, stick w/ workin on FTs and jump shots, the 3 point line is so close in high school, I say take advantage of that... the rim is always 10 feet high but the arc only gets further away the longer u play....

Harris can definitely dunk... but not too easily. I dont think Youll see him dunk unless he gets a big break away.

doesn't matter

In high school I don't think dunking does really matter...I mean yeh it fires the crowd up for a couple minutes but its not about who has the most dunks in order to win the game.

I dunno about Forbes Road this year but last year they were looking pretty big. I assume that they are still going to be solid this year as well. And yes. . . who is this "He" you speak of?
