I can see Jake Kendall being pretty good his freshman year. His whole family is a "wrestling" family and both of his brothers were pretty good during their time.
It's too bad his brother Josh couldn't wrestle most of his high school career with his hip though, I think he probably would have went to states every year. I thought he did really well last year when he wrestled for the first time in years at the NB match- he showed that he still had what it takes. I think it proved that he is a natural-born wrestler and all around athlete.

Personally I do not think Kendall will have what it takes to compete at the varsity level. He is a hot head, very immature and will not be able to handle the pressure. Roles little brother would have been my pick to move up

you are definitely right that he is a hot head, but i think that could help him. Most wrestlers are drained from losing weight, so when Jake gets pissed which is bound to happen, he will have some extra adrenaline. Not to say this wont leave him in a vulnerable position at times, but this sort of short fuse worked alright for Weyandt (Bedford State place winner) the past few years...

Tyrone has some freshman and sophmores to fill in were they need them to, and they could make it to the show at Hershey.they should have a good line up once football is over they should be stronger than last years team.they want to win dist. six team duels but they have to unseat Forest Hills
