That is correct Ohio Boy, he's done. Torn ACL and Lateral Meniscus tear.

Morningstar had surgery yesterday I guess on his acl but im not sure so i dunno about him this year i guess he'll come around or maybe not??

He had his ACL and his lateral meniscus repaired. I also had the same surgery done. It took me 4 months to recover after the surgery and that is a at a very rapid rate. I doubt he will be able to do anything. Especially since it is his jumping leg.

well harris might be the man this year but i hope he will remember he will always be 2nd best!!!!

he will always be second best? thats a pretty bold statement dont u think? say hypathetically he goes on and sets a world record....would u still consider him second best?

even still, that is a rather bold statement, derek was keeping pace w/ morningstar and the best of them last year, now that he actually has experience watch out, id say hes gonna b the man to beat in '04

yeah well harris isnt the only one that would have gotten better the rest of the jumpers would have gotten better as well

that is true, but most all the other jumpers had experience prior to last year where as derek had none and he did better than most of those guys anyway, so on paper, morningstar should be the only one around to challenge harris, but anything can happen

last i heard, morningstar is out with a knee injury. dont think that he will be back but the source could have been wrong. heard it was pretty serious though. its a shame because he is a great jumper.
