Ok, since the previous Soccer isn't a sport had some interest in who would win in pro soccer, we can now discuss it here.

I predict Man. U. will go far, but there is some tought competition out there.

Who has the most goals for the foreign teams? Anyone have any sites w/ stats on em?

Under professional soccer, im surprised no one has said anything about 14 yr old phenom Freddy Adu. I heard he just signed something like a 6 yr deal w/ DC United or something. The kids 14, I've never seen him play but obviously he must be unbelieveable 2 be signed as a pro at 14!!!

yeah Adu was offered much more lucrative contracts from many overseas teams but his mother wanted him to stay closer to home. i remember reading that in a scrimmage he scored like 3 goals against MLS defenders.

Yea if you've watched Adu on a highlight on ESPN, it's just disguisting. I saw one today and he's so quick and has great moves. Should be one of the great ones barring injury.

Yeah, I saw him on letterman as well. I'm not even sure I can balance a ball on my back, let alone take my shirt off and put it back on while the ball is resting on my back. 14 year old that told David Letterman that it wasn't any of his business how much money he made. That's hilarious.

He's black.. black people are amazingly quick, and this one has skill w/ a ball. I heard he had a million dollar offer from Man. U., but im not positive where i heard it. that would be a tought deal to turn down. playing for man u. and getting rich in the process. I wonder if he will start on his highschool team (if he plays for any school)

It's amazing how many young athletes are making a name for themselves these days. A 14-year old playing professional soccer....impressive! What grade is Adu in and does anyone think he'll become the next Pele?
