While out in colombus, ohio for a few games this fall we ate at taco bell before going to the field the one day. During the game about the 2nd inning andrew stiffler has to run off the field before he fills his pants and goes right into the dugout bathroom. He then comes to find that there is no toilet paper.
Buzzards have to eat, same as worms.
when playing little league baseball at pleasantville at the chestnut ridge tournament, our team was out in the field, no outs, with two men on base (travis + chad manges), while the other part of the triplets stood in the batter's box awaiting the pitch. Anyway, i delivered the pitch and brock manges hit one up in the air. Travis stood waiting to tag up, and our centerfielder caught the ball. our centerfielder then makes a throw to catch the blazing fast travis before he reaches the plate. MEanwhile, chad is caught in a rundown between first and second and is run-down for the out. Thus, a triple play was turned on three triplets.

its not really that weird but i would have to say, this one time we were playing a team and my friend was playing outfield and he ran back to catch a fly ball and didnt realize where the fence was and full-speed ran right into the fence! i swear to god i thought he got knocked out cold. he layed there for a couple of minutes but finally got up. thankfully nothing was wrong with him. it was the hardest hit i ever saw in baseball

You are correct 4, uncommon although it happens from time to time. almost always is a middle infielder. Last year Frank Menechino (2B Oakland A's) accomplished the feat against the Yankees I believe. He came up in the next inning and hit an RBI double also. The last one before that was Mickey Morandini (2B of the Phillies).
Jon, I remember that play, surprising that kid wasnt hurt. I would guess thats why he plays infield all the time now...

Ed Perina
This is prolly the funnies moment i ever experienced in baseball. At practice for pony league we were taking infield and outfield practice. Once the infield got done we all started walking in. So they started hitting outfield and this kid in right field named ed perina which was a 13year old and just started this league. He got hit a high fly ball down the right field line. Concentrating on the ball, Ed ran as fast as he could, and all the sudden runs on a dead sprint into the foul poll. He knocked himself out and couldnt practice the rest of the day.
Another funny moment is in my last year of pony league, when we a kid was taking bp on my team, and another rookie was running from center to left. All of the sudden Cody the kid who was taking bp drills a line drive to left center. The kid not knowing the ball is screaming towards him, the ball hits him square in the head making him do a couple flip. He was knocked out the whole practice. You should have seen the donut on his head.

Jon 27 where were you at when this kid ran into the fence???
"Some time, Rock, when the team is up against it, when things are wrong and the breaks are beating the boys - tell them to go in there with all they've got and win just one for the Gipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock. But I'll know about it, and I'll be happy."

It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone.
