Everett is pretty loaded. They return several key players from last years 14-9 team. JR Adam Miller (PG) is their catalyst. Also Sloan Clingerman and Wes Garland provide the inside punch...they are a bit undersized but play bigger than their 6'0 sizes. Jason Cessna (6-4 SR) will give them size when needed to match up with bigger post players or play a bigger lineup. SR's Andrew Koontz and Alex Hall and JR Sean Foor will split time at SG and Small Forward. I think most who follow the SHL would rate the Warriors as a slight favorite over S.Fulton to win the title this year. Tussey could be the darkhorse. I'll call the Warriors 15-1 in the league and 21-3 overall for the 2nd best record in school history. They look to be a tri-favorite for D5 honors with N.Star and Bedford.

I enjoyed watching this team play last season. That team reminded me of when Caoch Batzel was the head coach at everett. They played really good defense and were fundamentallly sound. They really got along well also which is important. I think this team can make a run at a dist championship this season. I have been following everett sports for a long time. This bball team could make a run at it in February.
