Who were the officials??? Beaver Co. Radio crew was going ballistic in the first half....said they (BF) were getting tackled, pushed, charged into, etc. Just wondering who did the game?

Did I this correct? The announces said that "Bailey is worth the price of admission."?

HR
Two of the three officials were C. Rickens and Sean Albright from the Altoona chapter.

I think the announcers were referring to Coach Andy Hetrick from Blackhawk as stating that Coach Bailey was at times worth "the price of admission."

I forget the radio station off hand but the that station in beaver county are the WORST group of homers...I had listend to some of thier boradcast and they just don't stop talking about thier dominance or that their teams were cheated...After Duquesne won vs. Rochester in Football I had to s listen to those guys...boy they sounded worse than Seattle...I am generally a "WPIAL"
guy but I am sure they may have been tough to listen to.
WMBA & WBVP...

are small home town radio stations. Truthfully, the homerism occurs in Beaver County itself. It's really evident during football season. Barrickman (the one that sounds like Cosell) is a big Beaver Falls homer. Jim Frederick leans toward Aliquippa, Ambridge, & Hopewell. Al Goering is the biggest Rochester homer that walks on two feet, and he doesn't know if a football is puffed or stuffed.
Truthfully, I find those guys amusing at times. But yes, they can be very difficult to listen to. If I had my pick though, I would take Jim Frederick out of the bunch.
