Redshirting in 06

Does anyone have any idea what players from Pitt or PSU are getting redshirted? When do these decisions usually take place for a team?
Nothing I have seen yet on FOS talks about redshirts, but I could take a few guesses about PSU.
Would not suprise me to see Devlin and Bracket both redshirted at QB, for the preliminary depth chart has: Morelli/Cianciolo/Suhey. Cianciolo is getting a lot of reps in practice and for now has the backup spot pretty much locked, but that could change when the new guys arrive.
A lot of speculation (and perhaps desire for 07) that Austin Scott redshirts, but I doubt it. Good news on Scott that he has taken a lot from his Orange Bowl performance and is "hungry for more" and its showing up in his practices...
For what it's worth, I am not concerned about the secondary....Timmons, JKing, that will be money.
