Idiot Justin King Alludes to Notre Dame Fear.

STATE COLLEGE - Hopes are high for the Nittany Lions to repeat last season's epic performance. Not often in the history of football is a team seen with so much heart and talent. The 2005 Nittany Lions were one of college football's greatest teams.
But that was a year ago. This season has some big question marks after graduation has decimated a large part of the Penn State starting teams. Almost the whole secondary needs to be replaced, and the shoes the kids will be filling are not small ones to fill. With passing foes like Akron and Notre Dame in the opening weeks, who tout quarterbacks in the upper-echelon of the NCAA this year, the secondary will have to be as close to last season's heroics as they can. But there is more hope in the 2006 installment of PSU's secondary than what many believe. A lot of the kids vying for spots, or have already won spots, played more last year than what the common-man might think. Still, the veteran of the secondary is sophomore Justin King.
King came to Penn State and immediately saw playing time on both sides of the ball. This season, it appears King's talents will be relegated to the defense. As the unlikely veteran, he will be looked upon for leadership.
"I don't wanna play Notre Dame," said King in a recent interview. "I am scared to play that team. New info has come to light. Man, I know Brady Quinn is good and all, and I know that he'll be our President in 2008 since he is getting so much hype... but I ain't scared of Brady Quinn. I am scared of Jeff Samardzija." These comments were a little different than what many expected to hear from King. "Jeff Samardzija just landed a movie role. He is gonna play in the sequel to Brokeback Mountain, and he already said he is gonna just be himself and he is actively seeking a co-star. I ain't hearin' that. That's the end of discussion."
Justin King's comments come in the wake of Athlon Sports' recent release of their annual preseason college football magazine. In a move that flew over the head of the editors and their naivety, and defies all common sense, Athlon Sports published an article featuring the dual talents of Samardzija on both the gridiron and the baseball diamond. They entitled the article, in huge, hilarious letters, to the effect of: "SAMARDZIJA EXCELS AS PITCHER AND CATCHER".
PSU head coach Joe Paterno was reached briefly regarded this situation and King's response. "What's a guy supposed to do? I think Justin is blowing this out of proportion. Jeff Samardzija is both a pitcher and a catcher, that shows he's a decent, giving young man. He takes and he gives, and I'm sure he'd extend that generosity to Justin if given the chance. I know Jeff's parents, his father was a great, great pitcher in his day. His mother loves to catch and always has. I guess this kid was just born into it."
