I Wish Bill Curry Would Run for President.

I've never seen anyone write a letter to a new coach, and post it as an article. In addition to being a great coach and one of the very, very best commentators on the game, Bill Curry is an excellent writer and is in my opinion the best writer for ESPN, period. I encourage you to read his articles. He posted this:

This is such a big move for Northwestern. Basically, by placing Fitzgerald as head coach and not going after a guy with experience, they are accepting the reality that this is a work in progress. They are basically starting from scratch now, and as much as they may not make much sense in today's college football world, there is still something to be said about it. It's a pretty bold move to throw him into this job like this.
