Big 10 picks

So where do all of you PSU fans see the lions ending up this year? My guess is they will fall back to the middle of the pack like every pre-season magazine is predicting, but I am sure there are plenty of JoePa worshipers who think they are BACK as an elite Big 10 team.

Personally, I think my Buckeyes will win ANOTHER Big 10 championship and this year we won't have to share it with a Penn State team who couldn't win in Ann Arbor and would have been beaten soundly if they had to travel to the Shoe.

You mean just like every one of your cherished pre-season magazines did last year?

Before you start raising the 2006 B10 championship, I would not count out Iowa either taking or sharing the championship.

I could easily see another split between OSU and PSU, or a three-way tie between OSU, PSU, and Iowa.

OSU will have one of the better defenses in the Big 10. When have they had a bad defense under Tressel. They have a weakness at corner, but otherwise they are solid. Tell me more about your little lion overachievers and how they will tie for the championship despite only returning 8 starters.

I didn't knock Tressel, or the OSU staff. You don't just have a "weakness" at corner, your whole defense is being rebuilt.

Penn State has good recruiting every season, then all of a sudden the kids start to play at their potential and they're overachievers.
