#17 Stanford defeated #1 Kansas 64-58 last night. #6 Michigan State took their 3rd loss of the season already, losing to #12 Oklahoma 80-77.

the final four will be as follows: uconn, arizona, unc, and duke. uconn has the best talent top to bottom of any body, and jim calhoun is a better coach than ppl think. unc will benefit greatly from roy williams presence but once they get there, i dont know how they will handle playin w/ just 6-7 players. the same goes for arizona. i really like arizona's startin 5 but outside that, they are all walk ons. and duke will be there mainly b/c of mike K. there isnt really a stand out player on the team but i think thats what makes them strong this year. ga tech is also tough but they will be exposed in ACC play. texas is overrated. digger phelps is a moron. st joe's could also make some noise w/ possiblly the best backcourt in the country, jameer nelson and delonte west.

when a #1 ranked team loses to a #12 Maryland and #25 Louisville in a matter of a week, that tells me they don't yet have what it takes to run the table in March. Maybe they'll gain it but if you watched either game you saw them get dominated, moreso than the score of either game showed. The Maryland game they had to make a 20 pt comeback just to get it close, and they still didn't pull it off. Louisville won by 10...

u are correct 11th man, i wasnt really saying the digger phelps is a straight up idiot tho. i am just sayin he is a moron if he thinks that texas can win it this yr after losing by far their best player and the heart of their team in tj ford to the draft when they didnt win it last year with him. i dont even think texas is the best team in their state. im lookin forward to bobby knight's red raiders puttin a hurtin on the horns during big 12 conference play.

Yea I really don't like Digger Phelps, he gets on my nerves so much. I guess you can't really say he doesn't know anything but I still don't like him. Also I think it's too early to make predictions on the final four because there definately isn't a clear top five. If i had to disagree with one of Austins picks I would say UNC, mainly because the schedule they will play will be brutal and they aren't deep. It is hard to go against a man with a screen name like that though.
