There is absolutely nothing wrong with the steelers front 7, 8, or even 9. Its the guys on the outside that totally screw the Steelers week in and week out. Their secondary has been terrible ever since the Cincinati game 2 years ago. Hampton, Smith, VonOelhoffen, Porter, Bell, Farrior, Gildon, Polamalu are the strong points of the steelers defense, find 3 more flashy, solid D backs and the defense will be very difficult to score against. The offensive line is the problem. They have been jumbling around since the first day of camp and have never really been solid all year. I hope they lose the rest of the games and get a good solid draft pick.

Gross plays for the Carolina Panthers, attended Utah, and was the 8th pick in the first round of the draft.

But would they find him? I know in the early 90's they wasted a few picks.

I hate the Steelers with a passion. They are in the easiest conference and always seem to make the playoffs. But to show how bad they really are, when they make the playoffs. They get spanked in the first round. Go Figure.

The steelers are in the easiest division but they play a fairly hard schedule...but they are not a playoff team...

Easy division, that is 6 games. Add in Denver, SD and their schedule is cake if they had a team.

Wow, if the Steelers could play the Raiders and other college/high school level teams they could have a winning record . . . maybe.
