Tri-County Tournament

Post by Morpheus »

Now that the Altoona Mirror preview is out and thanks to S Cube's great preview, how does the Tri-County Tournament shake down? One would think that because of all of the returning letterman at C-K and Glendale they would rule, but when I look at Glendale's returnees, the only good one I see is Collins. What about the real tough junior high group that has now moved up into So. Huntingdon? They could be a real darkhorse. Can NBC finally win this tournament or is too much gone? Will C-K keep it's stranglehold on the tournament with all of those returnees? What will be some of the top individual match up? Any guesses on who wins both as a team and individuals? I'd guess the team race goes 1. C-K, 2. So. Huntingdon, 3. Everett. (I know 2 and 3 are darkhorses, but I just have a feeling.)

CK has to be the favorite. Glendale and NBC would have to fight for second.

NBC

They lost a great deal of their team leadership and experience. It will take a couple monthes for Coach Clark to whip them into a contender.

Possibly two champs, Jared Mellot and Kilgore. I think 1.) Claysburg 2.)NBC 3.) Glendale will how it will end.

I know yall dont wanna hear this but i think tussey might have put together a nice little team this year..watch out these individuals will put a good show on for tussey fans at tri counties..
119-neville
130-foster
135-swab
145-brown
152-bollman
160-snyder
171-eichelberger
189-hess

they all could place top 4 and rack up some points for the titans...so dont count them out of the top 4 as a team also

They are an underdog, but could sneak up and make some noise. The Titans do look like they are experienced.
