Everett could help determine things too. They could find 3rd place and may affect other contenders.

I think unless they just totally fall apart, they will easily run away with it.

I would have to give the title to Claysburg once again.

Look for Everett lead the field with finalist again this year, but I just don't think they have the depth up and down the line up to pull the points. You need guys coming back through the consi's to pick up points and Everett's guys that aren't in the semi's will likely be out quick. But I give them a shot at placing. I believe last year we finished 4th (maybe 5th). I don't think NB has the guys to keep them in the mix, so that may put Everett in there.

I look for Central to be at the bottom with Southern just above them, and Tussey likely to be 8th.

JV will pick up a lot of points from the Scott boys.

Look for J. Mellot and Kilgore to pick up most of Northern's points, but M. Mellot, Oberman, and Pannebaker to add a few more. Pannebaker is my darkhorse for the finals. He really is an excellent wrestler if he gets his attitude right.

I haven't got much of a look at Glendale, Bellwood, or Mo Valley's line ups, but these teams always put some good wrestlers on the mat.

My predictions:
1. Claysburg
2. Glendale
3. Everett
4. Northern
5. Juniata Valley
6. Mo Valley
7. Bellwood
8. Tussey
9. Southern
10. Central

i would put tussey a little higher than that...don't be surprised if they finish above bellwood, mo, and jv

Is Tri-Countys going to be held a Everett for sure this year? What is Claysburg doing to their school that it can not be held there?

Id have to go with 4him with his predictions for Tri-Countys except i would change Tussy to 6 and Bellwood to 8 and Mo Vally to 7. I think Tussy is going to do fairly well this year. They have some 1/2 decent wrestlers.

Yep, for sure at Everett. I believe they are renovating Claysburg's gym.

I'm stickin' with Mo Valley at #6. They still have some good wrestlers. I don't know who Bellwood has, but I really can't see anybody but Neville and Swab placing in the top 3 at Tri Counties.

It is a good opening tournament, but the overall level of competition is down. Some good individuals.
