For like 10 months the Nittys have made jokes/poked fun @ a comment DW made after getting beat badly by WVU! He was being objective when remarking "We need to get faster".... and guess what???

The Dline though extremely young & a tad smallish was very effective, quick & definitely improved over last yr.
The lbs were outstanding esp Blades & Sessions but T Campbell, first start, is exceptionally quick.
The secondary was lock down good & swarming. Opponents should just game plan away from D Revis!!

Hope Larod is okay, he was huge in first 1/2; around 100 combined yards & one KR for 30some yds....twisted ankle, no word as yet!
Some unknown/inexperienced wrs looked fine, with plenty of speed!

DW knew what he was talking about - Pitt needed to get faster & they did!!

Sorry I couldn't watch that game, BECAUSE IT WASN'T TELEVISED LOCALLY. You had to have ESPNU to watch it. It's a shame, a team like Virginia can't even get t.v. coverage because they agree to play a scrub team like Pitt...
