That's incorrect. As a matter of fact, John wooden isn't even one of the top 10 all-time winningest coaches. This covers both womens and men's college basketball.

ahhhhhh...there it is!
Dean Smith, a coaching legend. Coached the Tarheels for 36 seasons and set the record for the all time winningest coach. What a great coach.

Best winning percentage and most NCAA title yes, but most wins, that is the Dean. Wooden is what you refer to when you talk about a coach winning because of his titles.
