North Star @ Windber

Coming off a big 44-0 win, Windbers stifling D and smooth flowing offense will play a large Cougar team that is 2-1

Did you see the Portage v. North Star game tape? They (North Star) racked up over 300 yards of offense against a strong Mustang defense.

You have to give credit where credit is due... I really think the Cougars will be in this one the entire game.

Windber wins 20-0. North Star is a good football team. They have some players on defense that really fly to the ball. Windber missed some opportunities early and it was a fairly close game until they pulled away in the second half.

Great game by the Ramblers. They have a very small, fast and athletic team. Their speed makes up for their size though, that's for sure.

The Cougars, on the other hand, had a few miscues on special teams that gave them terrible field position on both sides of the ball. I think they played well on defense otherwise but the offense lacked the ability to sustain a drive against Wndber's strong defense. For them to score, they really needed to grind it out and set up long drives... something they were unable to do.

Anyway, good luck to both teams next week.
