I'd like to see some opinions..... Would If there were an All LHAC team? and who would be apart of it?
my backfield would look a little like.......

RB-Reed/Barbin
FB-Holsberger
Lets hear everyone else's opinion?

LHAC 1st Team All-Conference
OFFFENSE
QB - Travis Rearick (Forest Hills)
FB - Matt Holsberger (Penn Cambria)
TB - Antuwan Reed (Johnstown)
WR - Andy Rubal (Richland)
WR - Nick Khuri (Westmont)
TE - Mike Cruz (Bishop McCort)
As far as the offensive lineman I'm not too sure. I'm not much of a follower of the top O-linemen but I'm sure there are many quality ones in the LHAC. No disrespect to the line, but I'm not very familiar with the best players.
DEFENSE
DL - Aaron Bresovic (Johnstown)
DL - Mike Cruz (Bishop McCort)
DL - Wayne Jones (Bishop McCort)
DL - Zack Trotz (Westmont)
LB - Matt Holsberger (Penn Cambria)
LB - Scott Lewis (Bishop McCort)
LB - Cory Arnold (Bedford)
DB - Ross Carpenter (Forest Hills)
DB - Antuwan Reed (Johnstown)
DB - Corey Faish (Central Cambria)
DB - Adonis Jackson (Johnstown)
As you can see, many of these players come from Jtown, FH, and McCort. Let me make it clear that I am not a loyal fan to any of these, it's just that the best teams usually have the best players. Reed (speed), Cruz (size), and Holsberger (strength) are the only two-way 1st teamers. My apologies to Brad Barbin, Jesse Feaster, and Marco Pecora, three quality players who definitely have 1st team game. It's tough trying to pick and All-LHAC team, and I'd like to hear any objections/opinions about my picks and how other people would pick their 1st team squad.

I have seen all 12 LHAC teams play this season, which I am sure none of you have. So you are basing your selections on mostly hearsay and stats alone. Seeing that there are 6 more weeks of LHAC football the only picks that I can make today are:
PC-Holsberger-FB (Hands down mid-season MVP. If you don't believe me ask the four teams they have played)
FH-Rearick-QB
GJH-Bresovic-DL
CC-Petrosky-DB
There are just too many games left to make any additional selections...
My apologies to Central and Heights, of which I know nothing about
From Central keep an eye on two way lineman Brian Caldwell, Runk at saftey, and of course Stiffey at WR.

FH-Rearick-QB ....Hands down last season MVP & is this season's mvp. If you don't believe me ask all the teams FH has played the last 3 years!
Not knocking PC FB but let's hypothesize a trade.
Give FH Holsberger & give Ernie F. Rearick..... & see what they mean to a team. FH would improve defensively but would resemble Army's offense...
from the 40's.
PC would discover it's TE, WR's, HB, bootlegs & more!
No question in my mind who is more valuable to their team!

Vman,
These are just opinions so don't get worked up...FH can win without Rearick. PC couldn't beat a drum without Holsberger.
