our incumbent governor is asking us to re-elect him because he has created 100,000's of new jobs in Pa, and at the same time in congress and the senate race the challengers are asking for our vote because the imcumbants lost 100,000's of PA jobs. What gives? this makes no sense. which is it? did we lose jobs and all incumbants should be voted out or did we gain jobs and the imcumbants are doing well for us?

Don't know if this answers your question...but honest & political in the same sentence is oxymoronic!

Both politicians are correct. Suppose a local manufacturing plant lays off 10 people because lack of work. Meanwhile the local Wal-mart hires 10 people (even if it's just part time). Jobs were both created and lost. The incumbent tells us about the jobs that were created and challenger tells about the jobs that were lost. As Mark Twain said, "there are 3 types of lies: lies, dang lies and statistics"

Have yall seen the Rendell commercial saying that we need a "reform" in Harrisburg and not lynn swann?
Now someone please explain to me how re-electing the same douchebag that has been there for the past 4 years will REform the government?
