Big East Football

After Rutgers beat WVU, Cincy beat Rutgers, and now South Florida beat WVU, many across the country are saying, "I told you so." about the Big East.
Sure I am a bit bias when it comes to the Big East, but I have a different take on it. I think the Big East is getting better (other than Pitt). The Big East is creating depth.
When such things happen in the Big 11, everyone says that the teams are beating up on each other because there is so much depth in that conference.
Is the Big East improved? I say yes. Look at our worst team, Syracuse, nearly beating Iowa this year. That game does not fully answer the question but it does show that maybe the gap is not that big.
For a conference that just lost three of its top programs, the Big East is doing quite well. How well? I guess we will have to wait and see how they fair in their bowl games.
